Does this mean that we'll be able to hit the pool in December

That same cold front even reached all the way down here, we set a record cold last night. Some areas saw temps in the 40s while it was an even 52* in my neighborhood. Went to the beach yesterday for my brother's birthday, and the wind was cold and strong. We didn't stay nearly as long as we would have otherwise. Should be warming up here real soon for all of us...

I went to bed around 1:30am and woke up around 10am. Sometime inbetween we apparently got snow sticking to vehicles. Melted by the time I was awake.

Kept me from working in the yard and painting the cellar door; instead I got to do some much-needed chores inside.

A former friend of my father's called and left me a voicemail last night that she had snow on her azaleas from it. Brrrr! Hope it didn't kill off all the lilacs, magnolias and other flowering shrubs that bloom up there this time of year.
